TSN Presents the 18th Annual Topeka Shawnee County Sports Awards/Hall of Fame Ceremony

TopSports.News will host the 18th annual Topeka-Shawnee County Sports Awards/Hall of Fame Ceremony at Washburn University. TSN is proud to preserve and continue this annual event to recognize our area student athletes.

2023 Topeka Shawnee County Hall of Fame class: Chris Barnes, Crystal Kemp, Kevin Bordewick, Rick Peterson.

Our ten area schools will be asked to nominate one female and male candidate with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average as the outstanding student athlete for each of the categories listed below. Also recognized will be an outstanding female and male athlete from Washburn University.

Again this year TSN will present the Topeka Officials Association award spotlighting the dedication and contribution of men and women who are integral to high school athletics.

TSN has assembled former Topeka Shawnee County Sports Council members, local school officials, and media personalities as an advisory council to review and select the category awards winners. This council will also select the 2023 inductees for the Shawnee County Hall of fame.
