The Topeka Junior Golf Association continued its 2021 Summer Series Monday with the fifth round of competition at Lake Shawnee Golf Course, with Turner Depperschmidt carding a 70 for the low round of the day.

Depperschmidt, competing in the 15-17 boys age division, edged Bryce Badsky, who shot a 71, by a stroke while Aiden Jones was another stroke back with a 72.

Annika Peterson shot an 84 in the 15-17 girls division, with Mallory Nelson second with an 89.

Monday's other age group leaders included Anderson Helmer (73) in 13-14 boys, Izzy Glotzbach (46 for nine holes) in 13-14 girls, Brody Buessing and Evan Jones (45s) in 11-12 boys, Emery Hall (55) in 11-12 girls, Jace Head (40) in 9-10 boys, Landon Lentz (49) in 8 and under boys and Avenley Head (57) in 10 and under girls.
