Shawnee Heights senior Adysen Burghart has been named a first-team All-United Kansas Conference selection by UKC coaches, one of three T-Birds to receive all-league recognition.

Heights senior Taylor Hawkins was a second-team All-UKC pick while senior Tatum Brown received honorable mention.

Leavenworth seniors Aleshia Jones and De Soto senior Katelynn Ostronic were selected as the conference co-players of the year while Lansing's KC Simmons was named the UKC coach of the year.

Ostronic and Jones were joined on the all-league first team by Burghart, Lansing juniors Kamryn Farris and Mackenzie Manthe and and Basehor-Linwood senior Adell Gore.

Hawkins was joined on the second team by Lansing juniors Caitlin Bishop and Mckenzie Moburg, Basehor-Linwood seniors Addison Penegar and Isabel Sibert and De Soto senior Kadey Waite.

Shawnee Heights finished the 2020-21 season with a 5-13 record.
