Shawnee Heights swept the team titles in Wednesday's Topeka West triangular at West Ridge Lanes, with the T-Bird boys winning by a 2,311-2,198 margin over West while Heights' girls took a 1,939-1,841 victory over the Chargers.

Shawnee Heights' Aidan VanMetre took boys individual honors with a three-game series of 620 while Topeka West's Megan Wood was the girls champion with a 596 series.

VanMetre, who bowled a 254 in his third game, beat runner-up Tanner McGuire of Emporia by 53 pins while Shawnee Heights' Josh Egly (566), Topeka West's Justin Brookens (564) and Heights' Jonathan Egly (549) rounded out the boys top five.

West's Wood, who bowled a tournament-best 263 in the third game, rolled to the girls individual title by 104 pins over Shawnee Heights' Brylee Prockish while the T-Birds' Maggie Stadler (491) and Samara Colon (490) finished third and fourth and Emporia's Anya Tollakson (443) was fifth.
