The No. 13-ranked Washburn men's basketball team dropped a 74-72 heartbreaker to Central Oklahoma Saturday afternoon at Edmond, Okla.
 
Central Oklahoma led 39-34 at the half and held off the Ichabods for the win, improving to 5-5.

Former Hayden star Levi Braun, a redshirt freshman, hit a 3-pointer for Washburn with 39 seconds remaining to tie the game at 72, but Central Oklahoma scored with two seconds left to pull out the win.



Senior Tyler Geiman was outstanding for 11-3 Washburn in Saturday's loss, scoring a career-high 32 points, while also recording 6 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

Braun had 15 points on 5 3-pointers while Rathen Carter and Jace Williams both added 7 points.
 
Isaiah Wade paced Central Oklahoma with 21 points and 18 rebounds while Callen Haydon added 14 points and led the Bronchos with 7 assists. 
 
Washburn is scheduled to face Rogers State Thursday at Lee Arena.
