MYLES ALONZO, Topeka West

A senior, Alonzo shot a 36-hole score of 143 to tie for 12th in the 2023 Class 5A state tournament, earning his second state medal. Alonzo finished second in the city tournament with an 80, tied for third in the United Kansas Conference meet with a 77 and tied for third in 5A regional competition with a 79. Alonzo is a three-time All-Shawnee County first-team selection.

TADD ARMSTRONG, Washburn Rural

Armstrong, a junior, has been a second-team All-Shawnee County pick the past two seasons. Armstrong tied for sixth in last season's city tournament with an 84 and tied for ninth in Class 6A regional competition with an 81 as Washburn Rural earned a team berth for state. Armstrong carded an 81 at state.

BRYCE BADSKY, Silver Lake

Badsky, a senior, earned a Class 3A state medal for the third straight season, shooting a 36-hole score of 157 to tie for 16th place. Badsky took medalist honors in the Mid-East League Tournament with an 80 and also captured an individual regional championship with a 77. Badsky is a three-time All-Shawnee County first-team pick.

HAYDEN GLYNN, Washburn Rural

A senior, Glynn advanced to the second round of the Class 6A state tournament with a first-round 77 and finished at 162. Glynn tied for sixth in the Centennial League tournament with a 79, placed eighth in the city meet with an 85 and tied for ninth in 6A regional competition with an 81.

JONATHAN HART, Rossville

A junior, Hart capped his 2023 season with a fifth-place finish in the Class 3A state tournament, shooting rounds of 79 and 71 as the Bulldawgs finished fifth as a team. Hart tied for second in the Mid-East League tournament with an 85 as Rossville won the league team title and tied for fourth at regionals (80).

RICH HELMBOLD, Topeka High/Cair Paravel

Helmbold competed for Topeka High in the regular season, part of a co-op agreement between Topeka High and Cair Paravel, and competed with Cair Paravel in Class 2A postseason. Helmbold captured the individual championship in a 2A regional tournament with a 78, leading the Lions to a 29-stroke team victory. He advanced to the second round of the state meet and finished at 173 (84-89). Helmbold tied for 12th in the Centennial League meet (84).

JAMES KUTA, Hayden

A junior, Kuta helped Hayden post a fifth-place team finish in the Class 4A state tournament last spring. Kuta finished with a 36-hole total of 169 at state (84-85) after shooting an 80 to finish seventh in 4A regional competition. Kuta earned second-team recognition on the All-Shawnee County team as a sophomore. Kuta shot an 87 in the Centennial League tournament.

TAGAN MONASMITH, Washburn Rural

Monasmith, a junior, shot a 74 in the 2023 Centennial League tournament, winning the individual championship in a playoff over teammate Bryan Tyrell. A second-team All-Shawnee County selection, Monasmith finished 10th individually in the city tournament, shooting an 87. Monasmith shot a 91 at regionals as Washburn Rural qualified for the Class 6A state tournament as a team.

TAGEN RODRIGUEZ, Hayden

A junior, Rodriguez earned second-team All-Shawnee County recognition last season for the second time after helping Hayden finish fifth as a team in the Class 4A state tournament. Rodriguez tied for 21st individually at state with a 166 36-hole total (82-84), one stroke away from earning a state medal. Rodriguez shot an 83 to finish 11th in the Centennial League meet.
